Sons of HaShem

One of the most interesting aspects of the current political constellation is the obsessive nature of the US, the EU, Russia, China, et cetera, regarding Israel. See, the natural thing for Obama, Kerry, Ashton, and Merkel, et cetera, would be to let Israel handle it own business. They, Obama et al., would behave like animals, denying the existence of G-d, and G-d would treat them Midah k'neged midah, as animals. That would not be favorable, but there would also not be judgment. It would be the Hanhaga of Elokim, the G-d of Nature.

There is one way to essentially change the equation, and this is what is happening. As the time of their judgment comes near, they have to come and interfere in Israel's affairs, in the affairs of those who live as the sons of HaShem, and who HaShem treats, Midah k'neged midah, as sons, favorably, above the laws of Nature. By trying to interfere in this Hanhaga they, Obama, Merkel, Kerry, will discover that HaShem is Elokim, that Elokim is HaShem, in the hard way: judgment will be upon them. At the same time, Israel will learn to live as sons of HaShem.

Interim Agreement

The Palestinian Authority (PA) negotiating team has revealed some of contents of the secretive peace talks it has been holding with Israel, under American auspices.

Independent journalist Baruch Yedid, who has maintained ongoing contact with official and unofficial PA sources, described to Arutz Sheva the situation taking place behind the smoke screen.

According to Yedid, talks are advancing with the goal of a framework agreement in January, well before the 9-month period set for talks.

Yedid's sources reveal that the agreement includes long term Israeli withdrawals over the course of 5 to 10 years in a number of stages, including withdrawals from Judea, Samaria and the Jordan Valley.

Behold It Was Very Good

G-d overlooked all of the Galut, and everything was Tohu vaVohu until He made the light, and it was Rashbi, and it was Arizal. These lights, the greater light and the lesser light, were good. And because G-d saw that the light was good, He gave to them the truth of Moshe. And she saw that he was good. One day. The One Day.

And He made the Rakia, and it was Chaim Vital, and He attached Moshiach ben David to him. And the two lights were placed in Shamayim.

And He created the Land, and it was Ramchal, and he was good, and He attached Moshiach ben Yosef to him. And the Land brought forth vegetation, the GR"A. And He saw that the GR"A was good, and attached him to Moshiach ben Yosef.

And the two lights in Shamayim caused the light of Moshiach ben David and the light of Moshiach ben Yosef to shine upon the Land.

And many animals were created to keep the light of Moshiach ben Yosef and the light of Moshiach ben David separate. And that was also good.

But in the end, in the time of the Geula, the two lights became one light, the light of Moshiach. And G-d saw all that He had made, and behold it was very good.

Corner Stone

I saw a list of scientific breakthroughs since the year 5600. This list, made to show how the prediction of the Zohar has come true, did not start with the preeminent breakthrough of Darwin. Darwin published his On the Origin of Species in 5620. The ideas of evolution formed in his mind around the year 5600.

Not only is Darwin the first, he is also very foremost. The anciency of the Universe, the anciency of life, and the evolution of life are corner stones of science. It is inconceivable that a list of scientific breakthroughs does not have evolution, Rachmana Litzlan. If one has a problem with Darwin, with the evolution of life, it must be feared that one has a problem with the Creator of the Universe. For completeness, here is the list that I saw:

A Universe with 320 sparks of holiness, and 35750*29*2^14 = 16.986 billion years of age gave way to our Universe with 288 sparks of holiness, and 29^2*2^14 kiloyears = 13.779 billion years of age. These 29^2*2^14 kiloyears are 71741^2*2^14 minus 16! times four. The 71741^2*2^14 kiloyears are 83.7 trillion kiloyears.

The Universe of 13.779 billion years is the world of Malchut. The Universe of 16.986 billion years is the world of Zeir Anpin. The Universe of 83.7 trillion kiloyears is the world of Atika Kedisha, the world of Keter. The Sod is יו"ה.

What Shall It Be?

Regarding the equation

13! + 288^2 = (288*274)^2

and the equation for the age of the Universe

16! + 35750*29*2^14 = 35750^2*2^14

a further rumination.

So, we have three values for the age of the Universe, 13.759 billion years, 13.801 billion years, and 13.779 billion years. Which one shall it be?

The first value, based on 288/320, is in a sense from the first Zohar, from Moshiach ben David. The second value, based on 13/16, is in a sense from the second Zohar, from Moshiach ben Yosef. The third value is a compromise, by Moshe as it were, a case of right, left, and middle. The very fact that a compromise exists, points to 13.779 billion years as the true value.

Some Alternative Ages

Regarding the equation

13! + 288^2 = (288*274)^2

and the equation for the age of the Universe

16! + 35750*29*2^14 = 35750^2*2^14

a further rumination. If we approximate 13/16 by (288/320)^2, in terms of sparks of holiness, following Arizal, we find for the age of the Universe:

(288/320)^2*35750*29*2^14 = 13,758,750,720

Keeping only signifant numbers, the age would be 13.759 billion years, just at the lower boundary of the current scientific range, 13.798 ± 0.037 billion years.

The value (13/16)*35750 is very close to 29,000. Assuming this value, "breaking" both 13/16 and 288/320, we get:

29000*29*2^14 = 13,778,944,000

In short notation, the universe would be 29^2*2^14 kiloyears. Alternatively, this is 71471^2*2^14 - 4*16! kiloyears. Perhaps this means that the Universe, long as it seems, is only the last stretch of

71471^2*2^14 = 83,691,173,330,944 kiloyears.

That is 83.7 trillion kiloyears. Anyway, 29^2*2^14 kiloyears is 13.779 billion years, well within the scientific range.

Physics Meets Torah At 274

Regarding the equation

13! + 288^2 = (288*274)^2

a further rumination. On physics that meets Torah in cosmology. On the eighth day of Chanukah.

Cosmology, that is, the age of the Universe, leads one to think. Is it a random number, like physics says, or is it a fixed number, given the current era, like the Torah says? Is there something special about humans and human history, like the Torah says, or not, like physics has it?

Then there is the above equation, which sheds light on the fine-structure constant.

Then something happens that did not happen since the day that the world was created, and therefore it should not happen according to physics. At the awesome 274, at רע"ד, at מדר"ל, a single voice is prepared to awaken at the heights of the upper heavens. And that voice will be fine, in secret, but the righteous "physicist" will hear Him.

On the Explanation of 1/137

Regarding the equation

13! + 288^2 = (288*274)^2

a further rumination. On the eighth day of Chanukkah.

Note that one number stays the same in the transition from the alternate to the current Universe. This is the number 274, which therefore is even more fundamental than the number 288, or the age of the Universe.

The number 274 is very close to double the inverse of the fine-structure constant. As Max Born said: "The fact however that alpha has just its value 1/137 is certainly no chance but itself a law of nature. It is clear that the explanation of this number must be the central problem of natural philosophy." I think we found part of the explanation of this number, and it is Jewish.

The Universe of 13 Midot

Regarding the equation

13! + 288^2 = (288*274)^2

a further rumination. The Arizal writes that the seven kings that died actually contained 320 sparks. He explains in Ets HaChaim, Heichal Zeir Anpin, Sh'ar רפ"ח Nitzotzin, Perek 5, how the 320 became 325 and from there he gets to 288, but don't ask me how.

However, if you would ask me anyway, here is a derivation. From the above equation, derive

13!*(320/288)^2 + 320^2 = (320*274)^2

Now, observe that (320/288)^2 is very close to 16/13. Both are equal to 1.23, in the decimal approximation. The principle of the previous post apparently applies to the other equation as well, in opposite fashion.

An alternate Universe, based on the number 16, with 320 sparks of holiness, and 16.986 billion years of age, gave way to our Universe, based on the number 13, with 288 sparks of holiness, and 13.801 billion years of age. The number 13, then, is known as the number of Midot, attributes of G-d, the Midot of Rachamim. A daring thought for the seventh day of Channukah.

An Observation

Ruminating on the equation

13! + 288^2 = (288*274)^2

and on the equation for the age of the Universe

16! + 35750*29*2^14 = 35750^2*2^14

we note that we did not "do anything" with the numbers 13 and 16.

The following is just an observation:

(13/16)*35750*29*2^14 = 13,801,216,000

is well within the current scientific range, 13.798 ± 0.037 billion years.

A Sad and Bitter Voice

The number 274 in the equation

13! + 288^2 = (288*274)^2

appears in Zohar Chadash. In translation:

"At the time of the End of Days, according to the hour of the day, at the time that the sun shines, from the 6th Day, at the time that is ready according to the count of years, of Yovel and Shmitah together, which is רע"ד (Raa'd, 274 in Gematria) from the 6th Day. At that time a single voice is prepared to awaken at the heights of the upper heavens, a sad and bitter voice, such that hasn't been since the day that the world was created."

In the current context, it refers to 274 years from the year 5501, just like 288. The condition of Yovel and Shmitah together appears to point at the end of the year 5775.

Ruach Elokim

In the Perush of the beginning of the Torah one part of a Pasuk is notably absent: V'Ruach Elokim Merachefet Al Pnei HaMayim. Why is this?

The Perush explains the beginning of the Torah in terms of the Galut. What is Ruach Elokim doing during the Galut? Ruach Elokim is busy, as it were, ruminating about

and its sister equations. What is the background of the rumination? Sof Ma'aseh b'Machashava Techila. Ruach Elokim is constantly thinking, as it were, about the Sof. The Sof is in a sense the beginning. This answer gives a hint about the nature of evolution, about Ohr HaGanuz.

HaShem Hu HaElokim

It is almost Chanukah. The light that will be revealed breaking the darkness of the Galut, is Ohr HaGanuz. What is Ohr HaGanuz? We have said that the knowledge about the anciency of the Universe, and the anciency of mankind, is from Ohr HaGanuz. However, it is not equal to Ohr HaGanuz, because there is another side to this.

The other side is the Geula, the moment of spiritual perfection of mankind, the great day of HaShem. The scientific knowledge is only a small part of a great and true light. The full light is that Elokim, the G-d of Nature, the G-d behind evolution, is equal to HaShem, the G-d who wants spiritual perfection, and has the power to bring it to Israel, and from Israel to the nations of the world. HaShem Hu HaElokim. HaShem and Elokim are the same. Ein Od Milvado. This profound and extremely wondrous truth, yet to be revealed to all, is Ohr HaGanuz. Chanukah Sameach.

Perush Bereishit

And Avraham, the Elder, the Chassid, arose, opened and said: "In the beginning Elohim created HaShamayim and HaAretz. And HaAretz was Tohu VaVohu" (Bereishit 1,1-2), in the Galut. [About this: "He has placed me in darkness like the eternally dead" (Eichah 3:6) - the Babylonian Talmud (Sanhedrin 24a).] "And darkness was upon the face of the deep" (Bereishit 1:3) - this is darkness from the side of the Shechina, from which all the powers of Tum'ah draw their strength. That is why it is written: "upon the face of the deep". "And Elohim said, Let there be light: and there was light" (Bereishit 1:3) - from the side of the Zachar. "And Elohim saw that the light was good" (Bereishit 1:4), that is the light that is set aside (Ohr HaGanuz) and will be revealed in the world. That will be the time of the Geula.

Kallat Moshe

How does the old Shechina get repaired? In other words, how does the old Shechina become the new Shechina? This is the Sod of the count of Moshe, and the anciency of it. The old Shechina becomes Kallat Moshe in the final step of the Geula.

The Power To Build

And what about the Talmud, the Mishna? They maintain a third level of the Shechina, the old Shechina, upon which the first and second Zohar build. The Talmud only maintains, conserves, the old Shechina, which is the remnant of Churban. This is the Shechina that went with Israel into the Galut. Its students have no power to build anything, unlike the power granted to students of the first and second Zohar, that is, to those working in the line of Moshiach ben David and Moshiach ben Yosef. This is the background of the perplexing statement of the Ramchal.

The First and the Second

The first two branches of Ayil Meshulash have a message that we did not explicate yet, and which may be hard to understand. Until Ramchal and the GR"A there is the building of Klal Yisrael, the first Shechina, until halfway the millenium. This is the task of the Zohar, the first Zohar, the task of Moshiach ben David. Afterwards there is the building of the Shechina proper, the second Shechina. This is the task of the second Zohar, the work of Ramchal, the GR"A, and others after them, the task of Moshiach ben Yosef.

Unity

See how the unity will arise. The heretics of the Geula are more open than the heretics of the Truth. When the Geula will have started, that is, after the first Zivug, they will start to understand and to accept. But the heretics of the truth have such a history of denying the obvious, that they will also deny the start of the Geula. It is not the Geula they expect. But as the Geula progresses they will start to understand that their opposition to science has become totally in vain, and they will join the former heretics of the Geula.

Ohr HaGanuz

The knowledge that the world is ancient, is from Ohr HaGanuz, light that was revealed only to the true Tsadik.

Today, the knowledge about the history of the world, is coming from science, and proves hard to handle. It has made the world into a place of heretics. But it is possible to be the exception, to accept the truth from science, to see that it is Ohr HaGanuz, and therefore to expect the redemption. Consider:

When Rashbi was going to leave the world, a great light appeared, from the Ohr HaGanuz, and he knew.

When the Arizal was going to leave the world, he similarly received from the Ohr HaGanuz, and he knew.

Chaim Vital did not know, but he also merited to receive from the Ohr HaGanuz, and he knew, and saw the coming of Moshiach.

And Ramchal merited to receive from the Ohr HaGanuz, and he knew, and saw the Yichud of HaShem.

And the GR"A merited to receive from the Ohr HaGanuz, and he knew, and saw the Yichud of Moshiach.

Only very few realize that this light, this knowledge, is from Ohr HaGanuz. The "Tsadikim" will reject it, fight it, in the name of Torah. They are called "Tsadikim," but they are not.

We Stand Alone

We stand alone. Heretics abound. Many are caught in the apparent contradiction between truth and redemption.

Many believe that the world is ancient, and therefore, they do not believe in "Jewish" redemption. Among the heretics of redemption are the Conservative Jew, the Reform Jew, and the Israeli Chiloni, and the non-Jew.

Rav Ovadia Yosef, and anyone similar, is a heretic of the truth, the truth being that the world is old, and that mankind is old. In fact, truth, general truth, has long disappeared from religious Psika, a deep reason for the failure of the "Land for Peace" psak. One sees no Cheshbon Nefesh after this failure, because really, in their heart, also the followers do not believe in the truth anymore. This includes many of the Talmidim of Rav Kook, who also do not believe that the world is ancient. It is strange but true. They believe in Judaism, and therefore they do not believe in the truth.

Truth and Legalities

Who judges from a legal point of view finds it hard to see how Ya'akov is so much better than Esav or Lavan. In truth, Esav and Lavan are crooks, and Ya'akov is a man of holiness. This is what we are learning now. The legalities of the world will bring total isolation to Israel, while the Truth is with Israel.

Forget and Forgive

The Americans threaten Israel with total isolation if they do not make place for a Palestinean state. A totally rational decision will see a totally irrational world-wide response. The world will surely try, once Israel brings the "peace process" to a halt. However, the "problem" is that without Israel the world has no right to existence. Therefore, they will try but succeed only because the world economy will crash.

The Israeli left will be blamed for causing this state of affairs. However, the Israeli left is merely a means. They acted as a shield, until the proper time. Sensitive to the world opinion, they are not the reason for this world opinion. Forget and forgive.

The Challenge

The first and second Zivug are the tough ones. The surrounding Din makes them into acts of faith. After the first Zivug, it will be initially not be clear where is HaKadosh Baruch Hu in this matter, how He is Mashpia L'Tovah. The Shechina does not rise yet. It is a test, a test of faith. At the second Zivug, the Shechina has risen, but yet there is a huge act of faith. Both Zivugim are in the time of Moshiach ben Yosef, that is, the time of the awakening from below. That is the challenge.

About The Name

The name מדר"ל is the Rashei Tevot of my name, which I received at my encounter with the Divine. The gematria of מדר"ל is 274, while the gematria of the full name, משה דויד רפאל לרמן, is a thousand.
