We have said that the knowledge about the anciency of the Universe, and the anciency of mankind, is from Ohr HaGanuz. However, it is not equal to Ohr HaGanuz, because there is another side to this.
The other side is the Geula, the moment of spiritual perfection of mankind, the great day of HaShem. The scientific knowledge is only a small part of a great and true light. The full light is that Elokim, the G-d of Nature, the G-d behind evolution, is equal to HaShem, the G-d who wants spiritual perfection, and has the power to bring it to Israel, and from Israel to the nations of the world.
